Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard sought to play down his side's shock Copa del Rey draw at home to Alcoyano, insisting the result should not be blown out of proportion.
Leading 3-0 from the first match against third division Alcoyano, Barca looked set to record a convincing second leg victory at the Nou Camp as they swept into a 2-0 lead inside the opening 10 minutes thanks to a brace from Santiago Ezquerro.
However, Barca were unable to build on that flying start and ended up conceding two second-half goals to draw the match 2-2.
Having lost 1-0 at home to arch-rivals Real Madrid in their final match before Christmas, Barca would have been desperate to put on a show for their fans against Alcoyano, but despite the disappointing result, Rijkaard insists there is no reason to panic.
"We have had chances to kill off the game and when you spurn those opportunities you end up paying for it," said Rijkaard.
"It is silly not to win this game, but we do not have to be worried. This will not make us lose confidence," added the Dutchman, whose side still made it through to the last 16 of the Copa del Rey.
"There is no reason to exaggerate the result. We have got through to the next round and that is positive, although is it not right to draw against Alcoyano.
"We have relaxed too much. At the start we have done well, up until the 20th minute, but then we have started to run too much with the ball. In the second half we have forgotten how to play properly."
Barcelona travel to Real Mallorca this weekend in their first Primera Liga match of 2008.
