Celtic are thought to be preparing a bid to take Barcelona midfielder Marc Crosas on loan.
The 20-year-old claims the Parkhead club and Sevilla are hoping to sign him.
Crosas, who played against Hibernian and Dundee United last week, joined Lyon on loan in January and helped them win the French league and cup double.
He made his first-team debut in 2006 and has experience of playing in the Champions League.
Crosas said in the Scottish Sun: "I haven't spoken to anyone from Scotland yet, but I am awaiting news.
"People have spoken about Celtic and Sevilla but everything depends on Barcelona's decision."
