Barcelona have announced they will tour Asia as part of their pre-season preparations for a renewed assault on Spain'sPrimera Liga next season.
The Catalan giants will visit China, Japan and Hong Kong as part of a five-day trip to the region, beginning with a clash against Guoan at the Workers' Stadium in Beijing on August 5.
They will then travel to Japan to face Yokohama Marinos on August 7 at the Nissan Stadium, the venue of the 2002 World Cup final, in what will be the third meeting between the two sides in two years.
They round off the tour in Hong Kong on August 10 where Frank Rijkaard's men will take on a Mission Hills Invitation XI - a team made up of players from local clubs Kitchee FC and Happy Valley FC - at the Hong Kong Stadium.
Barcelona lost out on the league title to fierce rivals Real Madrid on the final day of last season after having previously claimed back-to-back championships.
