A 90th minute winner from Ivan Ergic secured a dramatic 3-2 win for Basle over FC Sion and sent Christian Gross' side level on points at the top of the Super League.
First half goals from Daniel Majstorovic and Adelino Eduardo looked to have secured a comfortable victory for the hosts.
But Sion appeared to have rescued a point when substitute Vilmos Vanczak and an 84th minute strike from Adel Chedli drew them level.
However, it was not to be as Ergic had the last say in the closing seconds to send Basle level on points with Sion and leaders and champions FC Zurich.
In the days other game, Neuchatel Xamax moved to within three points of the leaders with a 3-1 home win over Young Boys.
Everson Pereira put the hosts in front after 23 minutes, before Kader Mangane pulled the visitors level four minutes later.
However, the home side always looked likely to score again and they duly regained the lead a mere seven minutes later when Julio-Hernan Rossi put them in front.
Matar Coly made sure of all three points with a third goal in injury time.
