BAYERN Munich coach Jupp Heynckes says his side will go all out to try and win the Bundesliga title in the league's 50th year.
Heynckes' side begin the new season away to newly-promoted Bavarian rivals Greuther Fuerth on Saturday.
Bayern have won a record 22 top-flight titles in Germany and Heynckes believes this year's championship would be extra special.
"This Bundesliga is very important because it's the anniversary season for our championship," Heynckes said.
Borussia Dortmund have dominated the Bundesliga over the past two seasons, claiming back-to-back titles.
Despite a large group of his players having been involved at Euro 2012 during the off-season, Heynckes is confident his team is ready to deny Dortmund a third successive championship.
"It was a long pre-season for us even if many players, for example the ones who played the Euro 2012, were available for training relatively late," Heynckes said.
"But when you prepare yourself so long for the start of the Bundesliga you are always looking forward to playing.
"I think we're ready."
