Former Manchester United winger David Beckham has praised Luis Suarez for his 'exceptional goal' against Newcastle on Sunday.
Liverpool striker Suarez neatly controlled a 50-yard pass on his shoulder before rounding Newcastle goalkeeper Tim Krul and scoring in Sunday's 1-1 Premier League draw at Anfield.
LA Galaxy midfielder Beckham applauded the level of skill on display from the Uruguayan.
"It was exceptional, to score a goal like that," Beckham told reporters. "The way he brought the ball down, everything about it was amazing. It was amazing to watch it.
"I'm a Manchester United fan, and I don't like to say that about Liverpool players, but all jokes aside his first touch was incredible, his second touch was even better and it was an amazing finish.
"He's a great player, he's capable of doing those things week in and week out."
