DAVID Beckham's return from a torn Achilles continued as the midfielder played all 90 minutes as Los Angeles Galaxy lost 2-0 to New York Red Bulls at the Home Depot Center in Carson.
Beckham's first start in the Major League season since he picked up the injury, which later required surgery, while on loan to AC Milan in March saw him last the full game which saw the Eastern Conference leaders defeat the Western's top side.
The visitors scored through Dane Richards and a Juan Pablo Angel penalty, the Colombian's 13th goal of the season.
Beckham's best chance to score came with a free-kick which was punched clear by goalkeeper Bouna Coundoul.
