According to www.au.fourfourtwo.com sources in LA, the English superstar will play in up to two friendly matches this November as part of LA Galaxy's end of season Asian tour. The Aussie games are likely to be in Sydney and/or Melbourne.

LA Galaxy President Alexi Lalas told www.au.fourfourtwo.com today that the Australian leg of the MLS club's tour was "something we're definitely looking at". We can also confirm the LA club have an appointed FIFA match agent in Australia in the form of Melbourne based Lou Sticca.

Lalas added that he was looking forward to "the positive impact" that Beckham has already had in LA.

"We've been caught up in this perfect storm that is David Beckham and we're looking forward to it continuing to have a positive impact," said the former US national team player.

If Beckham and Galaxy played in Australia, it's conceivable the fixture would sell out Melbourne's 55,000 Telstra Dome for a dream tie with A-League champions Melbourne Victory.

In Sydney, the 80,000 capacity Telstra Stadium may be the venue for a date with Sydney FC, Australia's season one A-League champions who are currently playing in the Asian Champions League.

Beckham is due to arrive in Los Angeles this August to complete the rest of the MLS season with Galaxy, which concludes with the MSL Cup final on November 18 (East versus West conference winners).

Ironically, Sydney FC is currently trialling a former LA Galaxy player, midfielder Michael Enfield who played in LA for two seasons before being released late 2006.

Galaxy kicks off its MLS campaign on April 8 away to Houston Dynamo.
