Socceroos left-back Aziz Behich's proposed transfer from Bursaspor to Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven is all but complete with a three-year deal agreed, according to Turkish reports.
PSV were linked with Behich last week, with the 27-year-old familiar with new PSV boss Mark van Bommel who was Australia's assistant coach at the 2018 World Cup.
Behich played all three matches at left-back for the Socceroos in Russia under Bert van Marwijk and van Bommel.
BeIn Sports Turkey have reported that a three-year contract has been agreed and Behich has farewelled his Bursaspor teammates and club staff.
Bursaspor reportedly originally valued Behich at AU$6.4m (€4m) but PSV felt the price was too high.
It is understood, the deal is worth approximately AU$2.8m (€1.8m) with potential bonuses and Behich will be presented by PSV - who have a UEFA Champions League qualifier on Wednesday - on Thursday or Friday.
Behich's ex-Bursaspor teammate Ricardo Faty, who joined Ankaragucu earlier this month, indicated the Australian was exiting Turkey via Instagram on Wednesday too.
Bursaspor also moved for a replacement left-back on Wednesday, confirming the signing of Iasmin Latovlevici from Galatasaray.
Behich, who has spent the past five seasons at Bursaspor, was also linked with Turkish giants Fenerbahce this week.
PSV, who were due to play BATE Borisov in the Champions League qualifiers overnight, already have Socceroo Trent Sainsbury on their books.
The reigning Dutch champions are currently top of the Eredivisie with three wins from three matches.
