GREEN Gully handed Victorian Training Centre yet another thumping with a 6-0 win.
Striker Hamid Basma and midfielder Graham Hockless both hit braces in the win, inflicting VTC’s fifth-straight loss.
Hockless and Brent Fisher scored in the opening 12 minutes before Basma completed a quick double before the break.
Hockless completed his brace four minutes into the second half, before Jason Hayne wrapped up the scoring.
The club also announced the announcing of former A-League defender Simon Storey, who is returning to Green Gully Reserve.
Gully are in eighth, six points from the top five.

ST Albans remain winless after losing 2-0 to Richmond.
Winger Michael Catalano immediately put them on the back foot on six minutes before Chris O’Hare sealed the points three minutes from the end.
The Eagles are six points from the top five, while the Saints are in desperate trouble, eight points from safety.

GREEN Gully missed a chance to move closer to the finals spots after playing out a 0-0 draw with Bentleigh.
The Cavaliers had the better of the chances throughout the encounter but failed to break the deadlock.
Bentleigh are in seventh after three consecutive draws.

DANDENONG Thunder returned to winning ways with an entertaining 3-1 win over Oakleigh.
Midfielder Liam Kearney opened the scoring in the 39th minute, before veteran striker Veton Korcarevski doubled their lead six minutes into the second half.
Ricky Diaco pulled a goal back for the Cannons but Luke Sherbon ensured there would not be a comeback by restoring the two-goal buffer on 79 minutes.
Thunder are unbeaten in five and have closed the gap on the first-placed Cannons to two points.

JOSIP Magdic was on the scoresheet to earn the Melbourne Knights a second draw in as many weeks, this time a 1-1 result at Hume City.
Hume striker Zoran Petrevski had given the hosts the lead before Magdic levelled 11 minutes into the second period.
City are fifth following the loss, while the Knights have edged further away from the relegation zone.

A HAT-TRICK from star striker Trent Rixon helped Northcote City to a 5-0 thrashing of South Melbourne.
Rixon hasn’t been as prolific as he was last season but his fifth-minute opener, along with two second half goals, sent him to six goals this campaign.
Brothers Jason and Glen Trifiro maintained their strong run of form with second-half strikes as City moved into third on the table.
South are now winless in three and sit in fourth ahead of a trip to Green Gully in round 12.

HEIDELBERG United handed Springvale White Eagles the biggest thumping of the season in their 9-0 romp.
The struggling White Eagles had only conceded eight goals in five away games before copping nine at Heidelberg.
Osagie Ederaro, Evan Christodoulou and Saso Alexovski all scored twice, while Benjamin Wearing, Yared Hailemelekot and Hamlet Armenian were also on the scoresheet.
United are sixth after the win, while the White Eagles are in 11th, three points from safety.
