CHILE coach Marcelo Bielsa has no intention of getting caught up in any celebration of his side's superb start to the World Cup.
The South American team won their first World Cup match in 42 years as they saw off Honduras 1-0 in Nelspruit after a fluent attacking display.
That sparked scenes of jubilation back in Chile but former Argentina boss Bielsa claims little has been achieved yet.
Bielsa said: "We have another view - we must make sure these points we have acquired benefit us and we win the next match too.
"The objective for us is to go beyond this phase and not get carried away by such situations.
"But the team was very good in attack - the attacks were well co-ordinated and the forwards were backed up by the midfielders.
"We played according to the characteristics of our three forwards and they were able to show their capabilities."
Switzerland's shock win over tournament favourites Spain later in the day threw Group H wide open.
Despite the impressive nature of their performance, Chile were wasteful in front of goal and they will hope star striker Humberto Suazo is fit to face the Swiss in Port Elizabeth next Monday.
Suazo, top scorer in the South American qualifying competition, missed the Honduras clash due to a hamstring injury.
Bielsa said: "Against Switzerland it will be interesting to see how difficult they make it for us to win the ball back and create attacking opportunities.
"Every game is a new test but all the teams see the first game as something big.
"It is not easy to cope with that but I think the second match can be more of a show.
"It will be less tense, especially when it comes to the historical record of Chile."
Honduras, in their first World Cup since 1982, now face a daunting task against a wounded Spain in their next outing at Johannesburg'sEllis Park.
After losing playmaker Julio Cesar de Leon for the tournament, they will at least want their key forward David Suazo back from injury.
Assistant coach Alexis Mendoza said: "Spain are the favourites and we respect them for everything they have done, but we will face up to them and live up to our expectations.
"We will try to overcome this stagefright we have once again felt coming into the competition.
"We will go on and keep being positive looking towards the third match."
