State League sides Sorrento and Stirling Lions, Amateur Division teams Spearwood Dalmatinac and Fremantle United, and Women’s Premier League sides Balcatta and Queens Park, will be competing.

On Saturday March 31 last year's home and away premiers Sorrento Football Club will take on Soccer Pools Cup Winners Stirling Lions in a showdown at E&D Litis Stadium.

The last time these sides met was in round 15 of the McInerney Ford Night Series in which Steve Neville’s Sorrento won 1-0.

This exciting weekend of football will also incorporate a friendly match between the recently launched National Training Centre (NTC) boy’s team, and a Football West State League 11 consisting of players from the Premier League U/18s nominated by each Premier League club.

Saturday’s entertainment will also feature the inaugural sprint challenge between players of the 24 State League sides sponsored by Football West’s media partners, 'Let’s talk Football'.

Sunday's Shield games will see defending premiers Queens Park take on Balcatta at Dalmatinac Park, followed by the clash between home side Spearwood Dalmatinac and Fremantle United.
