Sunderland have signed West Ham defender Calum Davenport on loan until the end of the season.
The 26-year-old passed a medical on Wearside today before becoming manager Ricky Sbragia's second short-term signing in 24 hours following Tal Ben Haim's move from Manchester City last night.
Former England Under-21 international Davenport, who cost the Hammers £3million when he joined them from Tottenham during the summer of 2007, will be reunited with Anton Ferdinand at the Stadium of Light.
