Former Central Coast, Wellington Phoenix and Sydney FC striker Blake Powell has joined Filipino champions Ceres Negros.
The 27-year-old striker made the move as the Filipino transfer window officially closed ahead of the second half of the 2018 league season.
Powell was released by Central Coast following the 2017/18 A-League season, having made 36 appearances and scored five goals for the Mariners across two years at the club.
Ceres Negros are currently top of the six-team Filipino Football League by 15 points after 20 matches.
They were also the club who memorably knocked Brisbane Roar out of the 2018 AFC Champions League during the qualifying play-offs when the Queensland club's shirts fell apart with numbers peeling off.
Powell joins Australians Brad McDonald and Harry Sawyer in playing his club football in the Philippines. The pair both are on the books of Davao Aguilas.
Former Brisbane Roar forward Tahj Minniecon spent several years in the Philippines and was a key figure as Meralco Manila won the minor premiership last season before the club dissolved.
Ex-Adelaide United winger Iain Ramsay played for Ceres last season and is now a regular Philippines international due to family heritage.
