France coach Laurent Blanc was giving little away regarding his Euro 2012 squad announcement after Sunday's 3-2 friendly win over Iceland.
The former Bordeaux manager, who said that he had learned 'interesting lessons' from the game, must announce his final squad for the European Championship in Poland and Ukraine by Tuesday.
But he was keeping his cards close to his chest after a patchy display in Valenciennes
"There are some very interesting lessons to be learned from this match, so we must analyse them well and then make the right choices," Blanc told reporters.
Les Bleus were two goals down at the break, following first-half strikes from Birkir Bjarnason and Kolbeinn Sigthorsson.
But the hosts came storming back after the interval and claimed a hard-earned victory courtesy of goals from Mathieu Debuchy, Franck Ribery and Adil Rami.
Blanc said the match was a tale of two halves and acknowledged his side's improvement after a lacklustre opening.
"The two halves should be analysed separately," he said. "The first half was timid, with a lot of waste and it was difficult for us to find a balance. Iceland attacked twice and scored each time.
"In the second, there was the reaction. By changing the balance, we created a lot of chances then we scored three goals."
