Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc would "love" to bring Napoli striker Edinson Cavani to the club.
The Uruguay international looks certain to depart the Serie A outfit with PSG, Chelsea and Real Madrid thought to be the leading contender for his signature.
Reports have suggested PSG have tabled a bid in the region of €58 million, and former France manager Blanc is a huge admirer of the 26-year-old's talents.
"I’d love to work with Cavani. He is a player I like very much," Blanc said.
"I would be happy if one day he was to become part of our squad, but I know that I’m not the only coach to be saying that today."
Newcastle midfielder Yohan Cabaye has also been linked with a move to the Ligue 1 champions.
And Blanc refused to rule out a move for his services, adding: "He brings a lot of guarantees to different positions. (He) is an interesting player."
