POLAND midfielder Jakub Blaszczykowski has been ruled out of Euro 2008 following a recurrence of a hamstring injury.
The 22-year-old Borussia Dortmund player suffered the setback during training on Thursday and will not be fit for the group stage of the competition, a statement on the Polish Football Federation's official website, www.pzpn.pl, confirmed.
Coach Leo Beenhakker has called up Hertha Berlin forward Lukasz Piszczek as a replacement for Blaszczykowski.
