BASEL'S Swiss Super League title hopes were dealt a blow as they were held to a 2-2 draw at home by struggling FC Sion.
Basel, who moved level on points with leaders FC Zurich having played a game more, were two goals to the good thanks to Benjamin Huggel and an own goal from Arnaud Buhler.
But Sion hit back to claim a share of the points with substitutes Alvaro Saborio and Alvaro Dominguez grabbing the goals, all four of which came in the last 16 minutes.
A hat-trick from Kwabena Asamoa-Frimpong helped Lucerne ease their relegation worries with a 4-0 defeat of Aarau.
Asamoa-Frimpong scored either side of half-time before a goal from Joao Pedro Paiva made it 3-0 to the home side. Asamoa-Frimpong then completed the scoring in the final minute.
