Chelsea will be without rested striker Nicolas Anelka and left-back Ashley Cole for tomorrow's Champions League Group F game against Marseille.
Both have been rested by coach Carlo Ancelotti while midfielders Yury Zhirkov and Frank Lampard have not recovered from calf and tendon injuries respectively.
Brazilian defender Alex (knee) joins midfielder Yossi Benayoun (Achilles) as a long-term absentee.
Italian midfielder Jacopo Sala, who turned 19 on Sunday, is included in the squad for an away Champions League game for the first time. Right-back Billy Clifford, 18, is also included along with fellow youngsters Josh McEachran, Gael Kakuta, Patrick van Aanholt and Jeffrey Bruma.
