The Sky Blues and Victory will meet in Saturday's semi-final at Allianz Stadium, where Sydney won last season's grand final on penalties against the same opponent.

That match, which ended 1-1 after 120 minutes before Sydney's shootout win, is part of a seven-game winning streak for the Sky Blues in the Big Blue.

The last time Victory have beaten Sydney FC was more than two years ago, all the way back in January 2016, but Bobo warned his teammates about complacency.

"It is a good stat but you never know," Bobo said.

"We need to be prepared for everything.

"I think the boys are looking good. We are in good shape.

"I think Saturday night we will put in a great performance."

Bobo won this season's Golden Boot with a record 27-goal haul but he modestly ignored the plaudits with a view to team success.

"I feel pretty happy," the Brazilian said.

"I would like to thank my teammates and the coaching staff to help me get this.

"But there's still a couple of games to go, so let's keep it focused."
