The match will mark Bolton’s 100th appearance for the club in official competition, and the long-serving keeper is honoured to be only the second Sydney FC player to pass that mark.

“It feels like a lot more to be honest,” said Bolton. “Four years, it feels like a long, long time because we’ve been in so many tournaments all around the World, but it’s a privilege to play 100 games and hopefully there’ll be 100 more to come.”

Today FC made the trip west to test out the venue for Saturday night’s game, with the Hyundai A-League club staging an open training session at the Campbelltown Sports Stadium.

Hundreds of Macarthur football fans turned out to watch John Kosmina put his players through their paces, and despite taking an under-strength team into the clash with the Roar, the coach believes his charges can rise to the challenge.

“It’ll be a good test of where we’re at,” said Kosmina. “There are no competition points on the line, but obviously we’d still like to win it, and based on the way we trained today I’m confident we’ll do well.

Saturday’s clash between Sydney FC and the Queensland Roar will kick off at 7:00pm at the Campbelltown Sports Stadium.
