Troubled Sydney have lost three of their four matches and tempers flared at the end of the field session at Macquarie University grounds in Ryde today.

Bolton's side in the makeshift match conceded a goal after a defensive mix-up, but moments later furious Bolton let fly with a mouthful at McFlynn when the game ended.

A clearly exasperated Bolton - nicknamed Bootsa - blasted McFlynn for not controlling the midfield and leaving the opposition clear to score.

"No-one's taking charge out there," he screamed. "You're the midfield general but no-one's saying anything. I can't hear anyone but me.

"We all have to be accountable. I just conceded a goal - I'm being accountable."

The heated five minute tongue-lashing stretched from one side of the pitch to the other, and brought in coach Viteszlav Lavicka, midfielder Karol Kissel, and skipper Steve Corica in an attempt to defuse it.

It only blew itself out when the team headed off to their post-training yoga session.

The row came at the end of an intense workout which saw the side focussing on their finishing after failing to fire in front of goal in recent games.

Striker John Aloisi trained on the sidelines but was worked hard by physios and coaching staff keen to get his fitness back after his recent knee injury.

Although breathing heavily Aloisi was coping in the heat, but seemed distant and contemplative, twice walking off by himself to the other end of the pitch.

Like many other Sydney FC first team regulars, Aloisi's contract expires at the end of this season and he will available to sign for a rival club from tomorrow for the 2010/11 competition.

With several squad members on Young Socceroo duties at the U20 World Cup, a few of the youth team were given a chance to train with the seniors.

The club hopes to get its season back to winning ways when they play Central Coast Mariners at Sydney Football Stadium on Monday.
