Borrello, who left Brisbane Roar to join Kaiserslautern in July, struck in the 3-1 win over Holstein Kiel.

The striker played on the right wing and got the ball rolling for the Red Devils in the second minute at the Fritz-Walter Stadion.

David Kinsombi replied for Holstein Kiel 13 minutes before half-time, making it 1-1, but goals from Christoph Moritz and Osayamen Osawe sealed the win for the home team.

The strike was Borrello's first for Kaiserslautern.

After struggling for game-time early in the season, the 22-year-old Australian has played in the last nine games in row.

Borrello has five assists from 14 first-team appearances this campaign.
