Bosnar, 30, rifled a powerful 35-metre free-kick past Kyoto stopper Yuichi Mizutani to seal the 4-2 come-from-behind win for Shimizu.

Earlier, Shimizu had trailed by two goals at the break, before they produced a stunning second-half fightback with Jungo Fujimoto grabbing a brace and Frode Johnsen getting one.

Bosnar's Shimizu, who are unbeaten this season, are now four points clear on top of the J.League table, ahead of Kawasaki Frontale in second.

Joshua Kennedy's Nagoya Grampus are third, after losing 2-1 to Matthew Spiranovic's Urawa Red Diamonds on Wednesday.

Kennedy had put Nagoya ahead on 13 minutes but the Reds hit back with two early second-half goals from Yosuke Kashiwagi and Genki Haraguchi.

The big Aussie striker, who now has scored six goals this season, played a full game while Spiranovic made his debut J.League appearance as an 89th minute sub for the winners.

In Japan's J2.League, Socceroos defender Mark Milligan put in a full shift, picking up a booking, as JEF United Chiba defeated Kataller Toyama 2-1.

In Korea's K-League, Australia-born centre-back Sasa Ognenovski played a full game as Seongnam Ilhwa crashed to a 4-0 loss at FC Seoul.
