EXCLUSIVE: Former NSL favourite Con Boutsianis has arrived in the US today to personally train one of the best US players ahead of the Beijing Olympics.

Boutsianis, capped four times for Australia and a huge fans favourite at South Melbourne and Perth Glory, was considered Australia's finest set piece specialist during the NSL years before the A-League kicked off.
"A friend of mine has a coaching academy in New Jersey and he asked me if I wanted to come over and help out one of his private clients," he said. "Her name is Carly Lloyd and she plays for the US Olympic team.
"She takes a lot of their free kicks and so I'm there to help her out in relation to her techique.
Lloyd will only have a week to work with the former Socceroo and South Melbourne NSL star before leaving for the Olympics.
Boutsianis, now 36, has his own specialist coaching program based on the Gold Coast and Melbourne (www.footballfirst.com.au).
