YOUNG Aussie goalkeeper Dean Bouzanis has extended his contract with English Premier League giants Liverpool in a deal that will see him remain at Anfield for a further two years.
Bouzanis, tipped by many as a future Socceroos keeper, is rated highly by the Reds and in a bid to give him a taste of first team experience, he was loaned out to fourth tier side Accrington Stanley last season.
One key performance while on loan saw Stanley beat a side from a higher division in the FA Cup and tee up an FA Cup clash with Mark Schwarzer's Fulham.
The youngster was between the sticks in Melbourne recently as he took part in Kevin Muscat's testimonial clash.
Liverpool's official website said Bouzanis had extended his stay until June 2012.
