AUSTRALIAN goalkeeper Dean Bouzanis will spend the rest of the season on loan at Accrington Stanley after having his deal extended.
The Liverpool teenager, who has impressed in 12 appearances since joining the League Two club in late November, will continue his football education at the Crown Ground with the deal extending until May 30.
Just last month, the 19-year-old had his original loan deal extended until the end of January, but Accrington have now moved to secure his services for the rest of the campaign.
Stanley have enjoyed a recent upturn in form coinciding with Bouzanis' arrival, moving up into tenth spot in the English fourth tier.
The Sydney-born youngster may also retain faint hopes of a spot as a back-up goalkeeper in the Socceroos squad for South Africa, as he now has the opportunity of regular game-time up until the World Cup.
