Melbourne Victory midfielder Oliver Bozanic is flying out to Japan for a medical tomorrow with Ventforet Kofu, the J.League club revealed on their website today.
The 28-year old fringe Socceroo has been snapped up by the smalltown side 100km west of Tokyo after they struggled in the opening four weeks of the new 2017 season, leaving them third from the bottom.
A statement on the club's website today reads: "We are pleased to inform you that Bozanic will fully transfer from Melbourne Victory FC [Australia]. It becomes an official contract after medical check.
"Bozanic is scheduled to join the team for practice on March 17 (Friday)."
The Sydney-born left footer joined Reading in the UK in 2007 from Central Coast Mariners' youth side, before returning to the Mariners senior side in 2010 after a series of loan spells in England.
He left the A-League for Swiss side Luzern in 2013 but was brought back to Australia in 2015 by Melbourne Victory on a three year marquee contract.
He's made 48 appearances in the big-V, with five goals to his name.
