"I was asked the question 'am I under pressure to get results because Sydney's always expected?' Of course you are under pressure," said Culina after the game.

Sydney FC is now winless from three games with two points to its name.

"I don't know how much you can read into it, because when you look at today's performance you know you're better than that," he said.

"Both teams were deprived of their better players and it's always difficult to put on a good show when you're missing, I think between the two teams, nine or 10 players that would have started this game."

He added: "Having said that, if we had our full team and played like that then I would be worried.

"But we have much, much more depth and quality when you're Boltons and Brosques and Juninhos and Zadkovichs are back in the team.

"If we were not getting results with those players then I would be worried about our performances, but that's not the case."

This Friday night, Culina's side, second bottom of the A-League, plays bottom placed Wellington Phoenix in Sydney.
