VENEZUELA claimed a stunning victory over Brazil in Boston for their first-ever win over the five-time World Cup winners.
Brazil coach Dunga named the same defensive line-up which began the 3-2 victory over Canada but Venezuela took the lead after just five minutes.
Atlante striker Giancarlo Maldonado breached the offside trap to open the scoring.
The Selecao's first opportunity took 25 minutes to arrive, when Adriano found Anderson who shot wide.
Venezuela held firm and, after Juan Arango failed to convert a one-on-one against Brazil goalkeeper Doni, Ronald Vargas doubled the advantage.
Dunga sent on attacking reinforcements in Maicon, Josue, Diego Mineiro and Luis Fabiano but Brazil failed to score against Venezuela for the first time in history.
Prior to this meeting, the teams had played together in 17 games and Venezuela had lost all 17, conceding 78 goals (an average of 4.59 per game) and only scoring four in the process.
Dunga was embarrassed by the loss.
"Unfortunately we played bad, especially in the first half where we committed the same mistakes in defence," he said.
"We practice this kind of movements but we failed again.
"We made some changes after the interval but we were still useless. We had a bad night."
Venezuela will close their friendly tour next Monday against Netherlands Antilles in Curazao before facing Uruguay and Chile in the South American World Cup Qualifying zone.
Brazil, meanwhile, visit continental leaders Paraguay on June 15 and three days clash with Argentina.
