Amateur players from across Australia will be battling to win an amazing trip to Brazil this weekend at the Red Bull Neymar Jr’s Five Championships.

The victorious team will travel to South America to represent Australia against 53 other nations in the World Finals – and have a chance to meet Barcelona star Neymar Jr himself.

The National Final is being held at Shed 8 in Melbourne’s Docklands from 12pm-6pm on Saturday after a series of more than 25 regional and city qualifiers all over the country.

Socceroos and Melbourne Victory legend, Archie Thompson, will be on hand to share his expertise and insight into the Brazilian style of play, having played with and faced a number of Brazilian players and the Brazilian national team during his illustrious career.

The setting for the National Final is unique, and breathtaking, with an old factory in Docklands revamped to reflect the style that has become synonymous with not only street football, but Neymar Jr himself. Spectators are more than welcome to get down to Shed 8 on Saturday to cheer on the teams.

And there is sure to be a real Brazilian atmosphere around Melbourne, with the Samba Boys taking on Argentina in an international friendly at the MCG on Friday night. The Socceroos then come to town on Tuesday to also take on Brazil.
