SOCCEROOS midfielder Mark Bresciano is set to return to the Palermo side to face his old club Parma in Italy's Serie A tonight after an injury-stricken month.
The Australian midfielder, who turns 30 on Thursday, returned to training with the main group during the week and has been named in the Palermo squad for Saturday's Serie A fixture.
Bresciano has been battling a back injury which has seen him play just one match since Christmas.
But he now appears set for a return against the club where he made 123 appearances scoring 19 goals from 2002 to 2006.
Palermo boss Delio Rossi revealed: "The player seems to have recovered. Those who I've selected are 100%, so he is too."
A win for Palermo in Saturday's early-kickoff will take them above Juventus in fifth, although the Old Lady also play tonight at Livorno.
