SOCCEROOS midfielder Mark Bresciano has opted to extend his stay in Italian football and he will begin the new Serie A campaign with Lazio.
Speaking with SBS, the former Palermo midfielder said that a two-year deal had been agreed with the club.
He had been a free agent after being released by Palermo at the end of the last Serie A campaign.
Lazio will Bresciano's fourth Serie A club. He has also played for Empoli, Parma and then on to Palermo.
