FORMER Sydney FC star Michael Bridges looks destined to leave Premier League new boys Hull City and join a Championship club before the new season kicks off.
The 29-year-old striker, who scored two goals during a short spell with the Moore Park side last year, does not feature in the plans of manager Phil Brown and was not included in the first team squad for a pre-season training camp in Italy.
According to media reports in Hull, the Tigers have confirmed there is interest in the former Leeds frontman from several Championship sides and so Bridges is likely to be leaving the club in the next few weeks.
Bridges has struggled for first team opportunities at KC Stadium since Brown was appointed manager.
The striker enjoyed his spell in Australia and did not rule out a return when he headed back to England in February.
