SYDNEY'S loan danger Michael Bridges is cleared to play in Sunday's F3 derby against Central Coast Mariners after his work visa was approved.
The star striker - on loan from Hull City - had been sweating on his chances of being able to play in the crunch match after the required paperwork was held up.
But late this afternoon, Sydney FC were given the green light to field him on Sunday.
"Bridges has got his visa," a club spokesman confirmed.
Coach John Kosmina had been keen to play the lanky forward after being impressed by what he saw of him in training this week.
He added: “Bridges is a great player. You can see that out on the pitch. He's a clever player.”
