Brisbane Roar

Jamie Young - 6

The star shot-stopper was kept busy by a threatening Wanderers’ forward line, but couldn’t do much to keep his side in the match, lucky to escape with a draw.

Jack Hingert - 6

Made one diving challenge to prevent Kwame Yeboah from steaming through on goal but was outdone on a few occasions.

Connor O'Toole - 5

Picked up a serious head-knock, belted against the post and looked a little dazed after that.

Luke De Vere - 6

A few overly-physical challenges as the ex-Socceroo attempts to exert himself back on the league after a long spell on the sidelines.

Daniel Bowles - 5

A little disappointing in his determination, offering soft responses to Western Sydney’s forward thrusts.

Álex López - 6

Looked tidy in possession but drifted in and out of the game and couldn't build any momentum. Withdrawn in the second.

Dane Ingham - 5

Repetitive and uncreative, gave the ball away cheaply in what-could-have-been dangerous situations.

Joe Caletti - 6

Lacks experience and that dynamic quality that a few other player’s his age seem to have developed by now.

Nicholas D'Agostino - 7

Few who-tos and crosses blasted in to Row Z, but while he’s been in phenomenal form off the bench recently this season, was left wanting by a lacklustre Roar forward line.

Henrique - 7

The Slippery Fish always manages to impose himself on matches, but this was one of his more minor efforts.

Adam Taggart - 7

Nearly invisible in the first half, sprung to life with devastating effect in the second, creating the first, then scoring the equaliser.

Subs

Dylan Wenzel-Halls - 7

Fantastic work-rate, could have scored easily. Needs to get more minutes.

Tobias Mikkelsen - 7

He looked pretty sloppy, as per usual, after his introduction but his goal was simply beautiful.

Jay Barnett - 7

Some fantastic flicks, you can tell why he's a Young Socceroo.

Western Sydney Wanderers

Vedran Janjetovic - 3

Almost completely uninvolved in the first half and after letting the first goal through his legs, conceded an unforgivable lapse of judgement - pretending to, before actually conceding a corner, to gift Brisbane the equaliser.

Tate Russell - 7

Overlapped Bruce Kamau purposefully and did little wrong throughout.

Raúl Llorente - 7

Defended impressively, keeping Ingham under his spell, while offering a few choice crosses going forward – something he’s been knocking about on the training pitch as he seeks to secure his future after Josh Risdon’s return.

Brendan Hamill - 6

Lucky to get away with a few average passes.

Tarek Elrich - 5

Perhaps luckily, he didn’t face much of a threat in the opening half. In the second, he was arguably at fault for both goals.

Marc Tokich - 8

Smooth, composed, two-footed – he has a lot of potential. Most notably, Tokich never seems under pressure, confident in his own quick feet in crowded situations.

Bruce Kamau - 7

Heavily involved, offering a few dangerous cut-backs, but still lacked that clinical ability, taking a few rash touches.

Jordan O'Doherty - 7

A mixed bag, although he looks a promising midfielder he needs to learn to better accommodate for his lack of natural physicality.

Kwame Yeboah - 8

A very active, positive return to his old stomping ground and a brilliantly taken goal on the quick-turn. You can tell a good striker because they always look for the revolving shot, it takes a lot of confidence.

Roly Bonevacia - 8

He’s back to his absolute best at a crucial time for Markus Babbel, a coach he perhaps wouldn’t mind seeing the back of.

Oriol Riera - 5

With the Wanderers signing Mitchell Duke, it would be surprising if Riera stuck around at the end of the season. He’s on a lot of money and has contributed poorly this campaign.

Subs

Jaushua Sotirio - 6

Played a few tidy flicks in a wider position, without creating anything of note.

Abraham Majok - 6

Very quiet and unconvincing.

Tass Mourdoukoutas - N/A
