The new state-of-the-art facility in Logan will open next year.

It will be the base of both Brisbane's footballing and administration departments, which have long been separated.

The Roar have had several different training locations over the course of the A-League, and coach John Aloisi is pleased they finally have one dedicated centre for the club.

We’ve already got a good culture as a football team, but in the past as a club, we’ve had two separate identities at times,” Aloisi said on Wednesday.

“We were training at Griffith Uni and our offices were at Perry Park, or last season at times I didn’t have an office.

“I was working out of a cafe because we had an office here but we were training out at Ballymore.

“As a club it will make sure that we join together a lot more and we become more of a family club.

“The players are a family, there’s no doubt about that. They’ve been through a lot together and they’ve stuck together.

“As a club, we’re still needing to grow and we will grow. This is a massive step for us.”
