The new kits are Puma's first revision of the Brisbane side's uniforms since becoming the club's official kit suppliers when they took over from Reebok's league-wide deal.

The home strip is a back to basic orange with black sidepanels and detailing and a v-neck with the club colours in a striped insert, while the away strip is a white-based reversal with orange detailing.

However it is the "event" strip which is likely to get most of the attention with a shiny silver gray cut across by an orange sash in eye-catching fashion.

"The new shirts are made of a lightweight 100% polyester in the main body with cell moisture wicking properties, plus mesh side panels for added breathability," said a Puma spokesman.

"The shirts includes the brand’s dryCELL technology, for moisture management and comfort during playing.

"The collar of the shirt is a mix of a v-neck and classical round shape, which gives the kit a point of difference."

The new event shirt will first feature on-pitch when Brisbane Roar play Melbourne Heart in a preseason fixture, in Ipswich on September 14.

Both the Home and Away designs will be used for all Brisbane Roar teams, including the National Youth Team and Women's Team.

They will be available in Rebel Sport in Brisbane's Queen Street Mall from September 10.
