Leon Britton has revealed that Swansea's squad have been disrupted by reports that manager Michael Laudrup could leave the club.
The Danish manager's tenure at the Liberty Stadium is up in the air, following alleged disagreements with the club's chairman Huw Jenkins over transfer policy.
And Britton has confirmed that the players are as much in the dark as the club's fans, but hopes Laudrup, who led the Welsh club to the League Cup and a top-10 Premier League finish last season, will stay.
"We all hope Laudrup stays at Swansea," he told talkSPORT. "It's a bit of summer of disruption.
"The players didn't see this coming. There appears to be a problem with the agent and other bits and pieces.
"Hopefully the club will sort it out, the manager will come back and we'll carry on in July. It seems like that's the way it is in Swansea though, we seem to lose a lot of managers.
"Hopefully he comes back because that's what the players want."
Laudrup's agent Bayram Tutumlu was exiled from the club last week following claims that he was trying to dictate transfer policy, which sees the two who have worked together for years, parted.
However, the Dane has asserted that he wishes to remain at the club and fans will hope the issues can be resolved soon as they begin next season with a tough fixture against champions Manchester United.
