An emotional Sydney FC captain Alex Brosque said he'll boot up again for the Sky Blues next season after a famous A-League Grand Final win at Allianz Stadium on Sunday.
Brosque led the runaway Premiers to a gruelling penalty shootout win over Melbourne Victory after the scores were locked at 1-1 at the end of extra time.
“To have been a part of this year and to have done everything we’ve achieved this year, I’ll keep going as long as the legs last and the physios take me on the field," the skipper said after Sydney triumphed 4-2 from the spot.

Sydney celebrates: Tears, hugs and fireworks
"This is a very special group and I’m honoured to be a part of it.
The Sydney FC talisman said he would retire Sky Blue.
“Absolutely, when the club doesn't want me anymore then that’s it for me.”
He also consoled the opposition and said he knew what it was like to lose after falling to Victory in 2015.
“Two years ago when we played against them in the final, they got the early goal and that group wasn’t able to turn it around,” he said.
“We’ve got it this year, and next year most of the squad will stay together, if not all, it’s great to be a part of.
“We had that belief all year round and week-to-week there was a new challenge, new team trying to knock us off to be the first to beat us and we just had an amazing season breaking records.
“I think it’s fitting ending (the season) this way at home in front of our own fans who have been waiting a long time for this.”
