AUSSIES ABROAD: Socceroo Alex Brosque made it three goals in four games with a late winner in Shimizu S-Pulse's 1-0 triumph over Vegalta Sendai in Japan's J.League on Sunday.
The Australian forward, who joined Shimizu from Sydney FC in February, converted Kosuke Ota's pass on 81 minutes for the decisive goal against Vegalta who came into the game undefeated this J.League campaign.
The goal was Brosque's third in four games, having scored in the midweek 3-2 home defeat to Kawasaki Frontale along with a late penalty in a 2-1 win over Montedio Yamagata a fortnight ago.
Brosque has now netted five goals since moving to Japan.
Meanwhile, the result moves Shimizu up to ninth on the table.
Elsewhere on Sunday, fringe Socceroo Bruce Djite scored from the spot as Jiangsu Sainty lost 2-1 to leaders Guangzhou in China's Super League.
