Former A-League midfielder James Brown is a free agent after cutting short his stint with Cape Town City.
Brown signed for the new South African club in August after leaving Melbourne City.
The 26-year old had a brief spell at Avondale before joining Cape Town City.
FourFourTwo understands Brown parted ways with ‘The Citizens’ several weeks ago.
The ex-Gold Coast United, Newcastle Jets and Melbourne City man made just three appearances for Cape Town City.
According to reports in Africa, Brown failed to adapt to the football lifestyle.
