The young striker may be heading out of Australia's domestic football set up but he is keen to see the game continue to grow here.

Djite, who is being hotly tipped to start alongside Harry Kewell in attack tomorrow told au.fourfourtwo.com: "It's our responsibility to put on a good performance and for those (attending)who aren't Socceroos supporters, to make them Socceroos supporters."

He said: "We're the national team, they're patriotic and just coming to the game but maybe they'll become soccer fans and start following an A-League team?"
