Borussia Dortmund endured a frustrating afternoon in the Bundesliga as a last-minute goal from Jan Moravek saw them held to a 1-1 draw by Kaiserslautern.
Sven Bender's strike eight minutes from time looked to have earned the league leaders their 17th win of the season, but the game began to unravel five minutes later when they lost Neven Subotic to a second yellow card.
And Kaiserslautern made their man advantage count with Moravek hitting the equaliser in the dying seconds.
Dortmund are now 10 points clear of nearest challengers Bayer Leverkusen, who cut their deficit with a 3-0 victory at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Simon Rolfes put Leverkusen on the scoresheet in the ninth minute and Renato Augusto made it 2-0 in the 32nd minute. Hanno Balitsch then finished off Frankfurt with his goal in the 84th minute.
Arjen Robben inspired Bayern Munich to an emphatic 4-0 win over Hoffenheim which moved them back up to third.
Mario Gomez opened the scoring after two minutes and Thomas Muller added the second after quarter of an hour. Two wonder goals from Robben in the second half then completed the rout.
Jefferson Farfan's early second-half strike secured a useful three points for Schalke at home to Freiburg as they remained in contention for a top-six finish.
Igor de Camargo's moment of madness cost Borussia Monchengladbach dear as the Bundesliga basement boys surrendered an early lead to crash to a 3-1 defeat at St Pauli.
De Camargo opened the scoring for the visitors in the ninth minute but was sent off 12 minutes later for a headbutt on Matthias Lehmann.
St Pauli took full advantage of their extra man, Max Kruse levelling before the break and Gerald Asamoah and Lehmann sealing the win in the second half.
Nurnberg eased past Stuttgart 4-1 to leave the hosts in deep trouble in the bottom three.
Timmy Simons gave Nurnberg the lead in the 11th minute and Julian Schieber made it 2-0 after 28 minutes.
Stuttgart pulled a goal back before the interval through Patrick Funk, but Timothy Chandler struck in the 51st minute and Mehmet Ekici made it 4-1 after 62 minutes for Nurnberg.
Wolfsburg were unable to win their first game under new coach Pierre Littbarski as they lost by a single goal at home against Hamburg.
Mladen Petric's penalty in the 32nd minute was enough to decide the match in favour of the visiting side.
