DESPITE press reports linking Nathan Burns with a move to OFI Crete, the Socceroo and AEK striker is staying put to see out the remainder of his contract in Athens.
Last week, Fairfax media reported that the former Adelaide United ace had switched from AEK - the club he’d joined in 2008 - and headed to OFI.
However Burns is determined to see out the last year of his contract with the Athenian club and has not signed with the Crete club.
Burns, 23, has made seven appearances for Socceroos, his first in 2007.
