SOCCEROO Tim Cahill will return for Everton for Saturday's Barclays Premier League clash against Blackpool after a month away at the 2011 AFC Asian Cup with Australia.
The Australia midfielder was rested in midweek after his national team duties but is now ready to step back into the side.
Everton boss David Moyes said: "Tim is back and he will be involved in the game. I don't actually think he has played any more games than the lads have done here.
"I saw quite a bit of the tournament and the standard was poor. I don't think it was very near the level of the Premier League."
Phil Jagielka is in contention to start after making his first appearance since recovering from a thigh strain off the bench at Arsenal on Tuesday.
Everton have no fitness concerns with Tony Hibbert available again after illness.
Provisional squad: Howard, Neville, Distin, Jagielka, Heitinga, Baines, Coleman, Cahill, Fellaini, Osman, Rodwell, Arteta, Bilyaletdinov, Saha, Beckford, Anichebe, Gueye, Hibbert, Baxter, Mucha.
