SOCCEROO hero Tim Cahill will again don the front cover of the latest installment of über-popular football game series FIFA 11, alongside Manchester United star Wayne Rooney and Real Madrid’s Kaka.
Cahill will be the centre-piece of the local packaging and marketing campaigns for FIFA 11 when it launches in Australia on 30 September.
The Everton midfielder's attacking, free-scoring style will apparently come to life even more in the new game, with FIFA 11's new Personality+ feature.
FIFA 11 apparently attempts to reinvent player authenticity - on and off the ball - for every position on the pitch with Personality+. It introduces new Pro Passing where pass accuracy is determined by a gamer's ability on the control pad, and player skill, situation and urgency on the pitch. Players will experience man-to-man interactions with 360° Fight for Possession that transforms physical play from just lateral jostling to full 360° collisions.
"I'm thrilled to stand alongside Kaka and Rooney on the cover of EA SPORTS FIFA 11," said Cahill. "It's a great game that I enjoy playing and I have no doubt that the rest of Australia will too."
"I've always been a fan of EA SPORTS and especially the FIFA series," said Kaka. "Being on the FIFA 11 cover is a great honour for me since very few players have this opportunity, and there have been some great footballers featured on the cover of this truly amazing football game."
