Jimmy Calderwood paid tribute to his players after a 3-1 win over Hibernian propelled Aberdeen back into the top half of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.
The Dons suffered a disappointing midweek defeat to Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Cup but bounced back at Pittodrie today.
"We're back in the top six and we have another home game next week," he told BBC Scotland.
"It was a massive result for us and a wonderful performance considering what we have been through in the last few weeks.
"I think we dominated from start to finish. We had 29 efforts at goal which is absolutely brilliant and that's what it's all about."
Hibs opened the scoring through Steven Fletcher but goals from Lee Miller, Chris Clark and Derek Young secured all three points for Aberdeen.
Calderwood added: "All credit to the boys, we went 1-0 behind, but we came back and played a lot of good football.
"We deserved to win the game after dominating a very good Hibs team who are deservedly third top of the league."
