JUVENTUS have been hit by the news that Fabio Cannavaro could be out of action for up to three weeks.
Cannavaro limped off in the 67th minute of Tuesday's 1-1 draw against Bordeaux and the Bianconeri confirmed today that the Italy captain will be sidelined for 15 to 20 days with a thigh injury.
The defender will almost certainly miss Juve's clash with Bayern Munich on September 30.
Tiago and Felipe Melo, who were also injured during the Champions League tie, will be sidelined for a week.
It is a big blow for Juventus who are already without Alessandro del Piero, Diego and Hasan Salihamidzic for Saturday's visit of Livorno.
Zdenek Grygera will be back in the side though as the Bianconeri look to continue their perfect start to the Serie A season.
