Fabio Cannavaro's agent confirmed today his client is in talks with Juventus with a view to returning to Turin.
The Italy captain's contract with Real Madrid ends this summer and the 35-year-old would like to play for Juve again.
"A month ago, Juve contacted us about Fabio's availability," said Cannavaro's agent Enrico Fedele.
"Juventus has acted correctly and, as a sign of transparency, they contacted Real Madrid, because the player's contract is coming to an end.
"Fabio would be very, very happy to return to Juventus with wages inferior to what he is actually earning."
Cannavaro joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2006 after two years at Juventus.
